STEWART, Justice: The plaintiff, Beverly Gordard, brought this medical malpractice case against the defendant, Dr. Grant Hickman, for negligence in performing a subcutaneous mastectomy on the plaintiff. A jury found for the plaintiff and awarded damages in the amount of $200,000. The trial court granted the defendants motion for a new trial. From that order, the plaintiff appeals.
